What do you talk about?‏

Good morning champs!

Have you ever given ‘thought’ towards what you actually talk about on a day-to-day basis? Are you the type of person that talks for the world but never walks towards any contribution what so ever? What does your family talk about? What do your friends talk about? What things do you hear being talked about?....Take a moment to have a quick think about it….

“The people who are most successful are the people who talk most about success”. (Woode, 1985).

You can look straight into society and see vast evidence to support this. Other weird examples (on a basic level) you may have noticed are, those people who speak most of illness always seem to be ill, those who speak of social problems create problems for themselves, those who speak badly of their abilities are surprised when they don’t have the ability, suffices to say that ‘YOU CREATE YOUR OWN REALITY’, and it begins with what you feed your conscious and subconscious mind.

We are 100% responsible for the situations we find ourselves in, the things that happen good or bad and throughout history we have always played the blame game, you hear it all the time, its his fault I didn’t get the promotion, its her fault, its EVERYONE else’s fault, in truth its YOUR FAULT! Only when you accept responsibility for yourself can you begin to walk from that talk!

Lets examine an inventor, when he/she gets an idea, that idea can spread very quickly amongst colleagues, in modern society there are examples such like viral videos, gossip, news etc… the point is thoughts are easily spreadable allowing many people to hold onto to multiple thoughts at once. Take a social gathering of friends and peers, the reason why they gather is because they all share a commonality of the similar thoughts; the question is ARE THEY THE RIGHT THOUGHTS BEING SHARED?

Depending on what you want out of life you should feed your mind with thought that will ONLY guide you towards your goals, ANY OTHER THOUGHT is ‘pointless’. Successful people MANIFEST their thoughts into the physical realm. ‘YOU ARE YOUR THOUGHTS’

BUT WAIT THERES A PROBLEM!! – Thinking positively is SOOOOOOOOOOO much hard work, how will you possibly keep it up! – Well here’s an answer, success takes a lot of talking, then walking, falling, followed quickly by talking even more, then walking a lot more and more and more….!!

Here is an interesting story I find fascinating (bear in mind that humans are made up of roughly around 70% water). Dr Masaru Emoto of Yokohama Municipal University conducted experiments to explore 'theoretical' links between water, consciousness & intent. His findings were amazing. He discovered that by putting words on the side of a glass of water and freezing the water, different statements could change how the water would freeze into crystals, on a jar that said ‘I love you’ it crystalized into harmonious wonderful crystal shapes pleasing to view under a microscope. On a jar that said ‘you make me sick and I want to kill you’ it froze in the complete opposite way, no uniform shape or patterns and very irregular; IF THOUGHTS CAN DO THAT TO WATER IMAGINE WHAT IT CAN DO TO US!

THINK ABOUT WHAT YOU TALK ABOUT it’s the only way to succeed (Atkins, 1985)

Have a thoughtful week

80/20

So according to economists, theorists, scholars in fact anyone who knows anything about anything - The Pareto principle is an imperative concept, by which dreams, entrepreneurs, business wo[men], you and me are made from. Management consultant J Juran, suggests that the we must understand and observe the following principle, in order to motivate us to reach our optimum. If reaching your ultimate is important to you, read on.

The 80/20 rule is not a mythical law or magical concept that will catapult you instantaneously to success, however, knowledge of the existence and function of this principle, should motivate you to desire to be part of the winning club. Yes the 80/20 winners club.  According to Forbes 2011, Carlos Slim, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett are all contributing members of this elitist club, with the richest 20% of the world's population controlling 82.7% of the world's income.
Economist Vilfredo Pareto is renowned for the incredible economic/management principle, also referred to as the '80/20 Rule' or 'The Law of the Vital few'. The 80/20 Rule means that in anything a few (20 percent) are vital and many (80%) are trivial. In order words 20% of your work colleagues will contribute 80% of the results to your organisation and in correlation, those 20% will inherit 80% of the benefits [recognition, financial rewards, promotions, etc]. Or in order to simply witness 20% results/growth or productivity, 80% effort must be expended. These examples have been the subject of discussion for decades as theorist uncover new ways and ideas to encourage/motivate us to success.
Do you crave to stand out from the crowd?
Are you one of the 20% that will contribute value to our nation?
Do you desire to be part of the winning club?
Been part of the winning Pareto Club - requires simply one constant! Can you guess? Hard work’, pure elbow grease. In order to win a place in the winning 20%, you must be willing to put in 80% effort in comparison to your counterpart.
We have all come across the famous statement before - "If you are going to do anything, do it well", however, according to the Pareto Principle… if you are going to do anything… do it exceptionally well, because the rewards are then yours.
Just a few example of how the Pareto principle contributes to every aspect of society and business.
1. Wealth - A few % of the people on earth hold most of the wealth.
2. Marketing - A few key customers account for most of a Company’s sales.
3. Population - A few % of countries have most of the world’s population.
4. Biological - One biological species (insects) accounts for the bulk of the world’s biological mass.
5. Planet Mass - One single planet (Jupiter) contains the bulk of the solar system mass around the sun.
6. Inventory - a few % of the total catalogue items account for most of the inventory $’s in a warehouse
Do everything with the view of been the best and winning, get competitive - so that you can excel – the Pareto principle/ 80/20 rule, should serve as a daily reminder to focus 80 percent of your time and energy on the 20 percent of you work that is really important.
Don’t just work hard – work smart! Join the 80/20 club

Hands up if you are afraid to fail…!

Today is a good morning…………… if you choose it to be!

So, according to the media it seems there is ‘chaos’ brewing all over the world these past few weeks. Stock markets are in dire straits, war continues, famine flourishes, racism boasts around proudly, viruses are trying to find new ways to wipe humans out…….and so on! These are examples of failures on a mass scale. They are an accumulation of many people’s efforts and that is important because everyone has a contributing factor to life.

I applaud the men and women who contribute to failures, accept responsibility, LEARN and prevail to make it better; are you one of those men and women? Do you give up when the going gets tough? – What are you really made of?

A wise friend of mine has a saying that always reminds me of why I strive for even more success:
“…do you have the ‘minerals’ for success?...well I dare you to fail”

We all know by now that failure shouldn’t be a deterrent, we are surrounded with so many examples of people who have pushed through that barrier to reach their dreams, lets face it, who want to be good at something; why not be OUTSTANDING, AMAZING, GENUIS.

‘Good’ - I HOPE YOU ARE AWARE THE WORLD IS GETTING EXTREMELY MORE COMPETITIVE and in this day and age ‘good’ isn’t enough. Being good means you haven’t failed enough; remember:

POOR = NO RESULTS
GOOD = POOR RESULTS
EXCELLENT = GOOD RESULTS
OUTSTANDING = EXCELLENT RESULTS

I have never loved the saying ‘practice makes perfect’ so much, only because it is undoubtedly true in all its essence.

I believe failing is a huge part of the success journey, Paul Simon says “you got to learn how to fall, before you learn how to fly”, and its very true:

Hmm lets have a look:

“turned down by many recording companies, they said, they didn’t like their sound and guitar music is on its way out” – The Beatles

“a failed soldier, farmer and real estate agent” – Ulysees S Grant

“cut from his high school basketball team, he went home locked himself in his room and cried” – Michael Jordan

“teachers told him he was too stupid to learn anything and that he should go into a field where he might succeed by virtue of his pleasant personality” – Thomas Edison

“fired from a newspaper company because he lacked imagination and had no original ideas” – Walt Disney

THE LIST IS ENDLESS…

When you fail your character is being tested, so if you are like me and many others and you agree with the saying “practice makes perfect” you should be prepared to have your character tested all the time; it is the BEST way for you to learn,… well unless you are a super intelligent alien life form or you are in possession of magic beans!

“YOU LEARN TO SUCCEED BY LEARNING THE THINGS YOU SHOULDN’T DO, QUICKLY” (Goodman 1985)

“Failure only unravels your hearts true desire, only action and determination can attain it” (TR Bentley- Woode)

Have an outstanding week

What the heck are you waiting for?

Big hello to our new subscribers, Ahola! Wow! 8 months into the year..., how 'time' flies. As Louis Hector quoted "time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils".

What are you dying to achieve this year?
What are you willing to give up to make it a reality?
What tools do you need to achieve it?
What the heck are you waiting for?

If truly time is irredeemable, are we then making the most ours? According to scientists, time is a relatively difficult concept to define, many refer to it as 'a duration, an interval, the progress of existence,' however, one factor remains irrefutably conclusive - Time is irreversible and irredeemable. [Check out Dollo's law of irreversibility] Therefore I ask again! What are we doing with ours?

As you read this article at 9am on the 1st of August 2011, you should stop and begin to think - how will my actions today make the most of this irredeemable asset? Will it be spent wisely and productive or wasted away like pennies down the drain? I guess only you can answer that.

May I ask you a few questions?
What do you spend most of your time doing? Watching unedifying television programmes, Facebook, Twitter? As you begin to understand 'time' just as Benjamin Franklin did, - you will understand that "lost time is never found again". I implore you today, make the most of your 86, 400 seconds daily.

In order for you to achieve your goals, many factors must be considered and implemented, however, the main ingredient is the understanding of time - The time in which you place on achieving your dream is defined by the value you place on it. Try and calculate the how long you spend on activities which will not necessarily facilitate the manifestation of your goals. If developing your relationship is significant to you - spend time developing it, if your growing your business is significant, is imperative that necessary 'time' is allocated to ensure the results are evident.

William Penn, noted as human beings "... time is what we what we want most, but... what we use worst."

Start today, begin to utilise the 24 hours we have accordingly. Our role models did, our friends do, our parents do - Jackson Brown, suggested, "Don't say you don't have enough time. you have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson and Albert Einstein"

Time waits for no man - Grab your opportunities today, do not allow your golden opportunity to slip away as you procrastinate on the pretence that time is your friend."...You have been warned against letting the golden hour slip by..."

Make the most of your time Today and this week

Good Luck

MONEY - POWER - SEX‏

Good Morning
Today I am going to be a blunt and reiterate you what you already know but don’t like to hear.
The title is an amalgamation of words principally ‘describing’ how the world works, the trick is to have that burning white hot desire to attain two out of the three; sounds easy right? Well let me tell you that you probably have one nailed down already but don’t really know how to use it to its full advantage.  Before we go further lets just examine what they are briefly:
MONEY – Invented and intended to ‘keep’ order, to measure quality of life/standard of living. It does indeed govern how fast or slow the world moves in terms of the progression of mankind. Some say  money is ‘bad’ others admire it; I believe all arguments are in vain because utopia can never be achieved with money in existence. We live TODAY in a society where money does exist so go and get it, PERIOD!
POWER – I define power as “the ability to influence”, so now ask yourself how much power do you have? Lets take two extreme scenarios. First lets consider having the power to influence millions of people to agree and support you into war or having the power to influence a handful of friends go out partying for the night. There is something amazing that lies in between these extremities that separates great success from the average; lets be honest if you are happy on being average in our tiny miniscule part of the universe then STOP READING RIGHT NOW THIS IS NOT FOR YOU!!
SEX(LOVE)-  last but certainly not least this is the one thing that ‘most’ are fortunate enough to be able to do. Not only can it be used to sustain our existence most people don’t know that it is the invisible ‘glue’ that links these three principals together. If you were to derive EVERYTHING we do on the earth you soon find that SEX is the root of ‘everything’; and surprisingly a weird thing happens then you do begin to derive those things. You will notice that at some point within the process of deriving the root you will pass EITHER, POWER or MONEY or BOTH; don’t believe meTRY IT RIGHT NOW with any situation.
Now the key to success in relation to sex is CONTROL. The art of transmutation is a powerful tool used by those in the know, get to know how to use sex to gain that advantage that only successful people now about, Napoleon Hill explains it very well in his book “Think and grow rich” (grab a copy if you haven’t done so already).
Nevertheless to return to my point at the beginning, 2 out of 3 is all you will indeed need to be successful. I hope you can begin to see that not all three is needed. YOU ALREADY HAVE SEX all you now need is either power or money to be successful.
Think about it, if your dreams are not monetarily orientated then you have to gain power to be able to make that happen and vice versa!
DO YOU HAVE THE BALLS to do it? Getting the power to influence people to believe in your dream is a skill that isn’t just going to appear it has to be worked on, the same goes for money; the funny thing is because all three are connected and if you think you can LIVE with just sex then good luck to you because you cant!
Think of your dream right now, now think about which one of the 2 you need, is it POWER or is itMONEY?
A wise man said, “be the change you want to see in the world”, let’s adapt that slightly to what we will be discussing today; “be the change you want to see in yourself”.
Remember, “without risk there is no progress” Goodman 1985.
So in conclusion it’s 1 down 1 to go; how much do you want it? This will determine how long it will take you
Let begin that journey this week, LETS GO!!

Fight or Flight!

Will you choose to fight 12 rounds or will you decide to give up today.

You slave away, you make the necessary sacrifices, you put in a 100% effort! Yet you failed. Now what? What do you do?

As infants we are educated to understand that in order to achieve our dreams and goals, we must work hard, make sacrifices, put in 110% effort, then we are guaranteed to see the manifestation of our efforts. However, nobody talks or teaches about what we must do, when we attempt to pursue our dreams and fall flat on our face. As humans beings, we are faced with a daily conundrum, the decision to fight or take flight

I hear you asking, do you endure further or do you accept defeat and give up?

Today, I wanted to tell you something. I wanted to encourage you. I wanted to make you aware that 'failure is a natural part of life', however, the difference between champions and losers are those who learn from failure and 'push on'.

Failure does not mean that you are weak, in fact, it implies quite the opposite as suggested by TR Bentley-Woode "The lessons from failure are your greatest strengths".

*You attempt to run a business yet the challenging are overwhelming
*You attempt to pursue a employment career, yet employers are not giving you that much needed break

Keep going! Keep going! Keep going

Can I tell you a secret? "Your success is just one more step in front of your last failed attempt,"Atkin (1985) Napeoleon Hill, the author of "Think and Grow rich" in support of Atkins, suggested that 'Most great people have attained their greatest success just one step beyond their greatest failure.'

Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The great sportsman Michael Jordan stated, "I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying". The greatest lesson you can ever learn is one from yourself.

Watch this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_3Dj5GZJNc by Sir Richard Branson who is regarded as one of the greatest failure of our century, yet one of the most powerful and wealthiest entrepreneurs of today. Go figure that out! Your success is round the corner, just keep the fight! Fight on

Do not give up on your dream. Edison didn't, Branson didn't, I didn't, in fact anyone who ever achieved anything understood one of the greatest secret as noted by John Wooden is that "Success is never final, failure is never fatal. It's courage that counts"

Give it one more shot!

Your success awaits you.

Have a brilliant week

Opportunity is the cousin of gratitude‏

Good morning guys it's a quick one today.

Once upon a time there was a quote that I came across and in the end; till this day is one of the best sentences I have ever heard.

It goes something like this, “Opportunity is never lost it is simply picked up by someone else”…no one on this earth can disagree to that quote holding so much relevance to how EVERYONE should live their lives.

Your soooooo lucky that today I am going to share two quick stories with you guys; first one:

"The Obstacles In Our Path"

In ancient times, a King had a boulder placed on a roadway. Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock. Some of the king's wealthiest merchants and courtiers came by and simply walked around it. Many loudly blamed the King for not keeping the roads clear, but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.

Then a peasant came along carrying a load of vegetables. Upon approaching the boulder, the peasant laid down his burden and tried to move the stone to the side of the road. After much pushing and straining, he finally succeeded. After the peasant picked up his load of vegetables, he noticed a purse lying in the road where the boulder had been. The purse contained many gold coins and a note from the King indicating that the gold was for the person who removed the boulder from the roadway. The peasant learned what many of us never understand - "Every obstacle presents an opportunity to improve our condition."
MORAL = GRAB THE OPPORTUNITY!!

"Giving When It Counts"

Many years ago, I heard a story about a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare and serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year-old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, "Yes, I'll do it if it will save her."

As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing the colour returning to her cheeks. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away?"

Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her.
MORAL = GRATITUDE IS PRICELESS

Now we all know everybody is different and that we all go on different paths to fulfil our destiny.
Some people are born the ‘tallest’, some are the ‘brightest’, some are the ‘fastest’, some are the‘wisest’ what ever the case we ALL are given opportunities when we enter into this wonderful world we live. SOME TAKE IT and it’s a shame that SOME DON’T. What’s more upsetting is the ones that take it half-heartedly; is that YOU?

Whichever way it works out, you should always remember similarly like the law of physics in relation to energy utters,

“OPPORTUNITY IS OUTHERE IN ABUNDANCE, IT IS NEVER DESTROYED, IT SIMPLY TRANSFORMS FROM ONE FORM TO ANOTHER”
(T R Bentley-Woode 1985)

Take every opportunity and show some gratitude

Have a wonderful week
